An inspirational book for artists.

2024 for Maddalena Selvini at Naba Milano

With this book I wanted to create an inspirational tool for artists, as well as an experience for the reader. I utilized four of our five senses by the shapes and colours on the pages, by letting the reader feel the materials as well as inspiring them to draw, by giving the book a scent and by creating a specific soundtrack for the book, which suits the mood and underlines the experience.

The book is meant to be used as a tool, the pockets on every left page are for storing drawings, sketches and other needed materials. It is designed to fit A5 perfectly, and A4 if really needed.

The book is completely self-made and hand-sewn.
